Tolerances measured in microns
We machine engines for restoration shops, race teams and workshops who need work done to better than OEM tolerance. Block decks are flycut on a CNC, crankshafts are polished and balanced, and every job leaves with a measurement sheet you can keep on file.
We work on cast iron, aluminium and bi-material blocks from prewar singles to modern flat-plane V8s. Same week turnaround on most cylinder-head jobs, with collection and delivery available across the trade.
Built To Spec
Heads, blocks, cranks and rods — measured, machined and certified.

Crack test, valve grind, valve guides replaced, pressure test and a new gasket set. Measurement sheet supplied.

Block hot-tank cleaned, decks flycut, bores honed to the correct surface finish for ring sealing — finished to ±0.005 mm.

Crankshaft mains and big-end journals reground to standard or oversize, polished, balanced and Magnaflux-tested.

Big-end resize on a Sunnen, ARP bolts fitted, weight matched across the set within 0.5 g.

Rotating assembly balanced to ±1 gram, short-engine assembled with new bearings, rings and seals to your spec.

One-off pulleys, adapters, sumps and timing covers machined from drawings or 3D scans on our 4-axis CNC.
« An engine is the sum of its tolerances — and we measure ours in microns. »
