We're an RYA-recognised school where small groups, patient instructors and real time on the helm matter more than ticking boxes. Most of our students are first-timers; we get them anchoring, docking and reading charts before the exam, not just after.
Our fleet is owned, insured and maintained by us — no mystery rentals, no surprise costs. Theory is online and on demand; on-water sessions run weekdays, weekends and over long bank-holiday blocks for working students.
Opening Hours
Learn To Skipper Properly
From your very first hour at sea through coastal, inland and offshore qualifications.
Four hours on a 7 m yacht, two students per instructor — knots, helm, mooring and a first proper feel of the water.
Full inland helmsman course including theory, two practical sessions and the CEVNI test required for European canals and rivers.
Full RYA Day Skipper practical: passage planning, night sail, MOB drills and pilotage — three students max per yacht.
International Certificate of Competence for sail or motor, with practical assessment, theory revision and certificate issued on completion.
A senior instructor joins you on your own boat for a tailored day — docking, anchoring, electronics or rough-weather drills.
Self-paced theory with marked progress, weekly tutor Q&A and full preparation for the RYA Day Skipper theory exam.
