About Us
Cloth chosen by someone who sews
We stock dressmaking cottons, linens and viscose, quilting prints from Liberty and Cloud9, upholstery weights from European mills, and bias bindings, threads and zips in colour-matched walls. New bolts arrive every fortnight, samples are clipped on display and the cutting table has light coming straight down — so the green you choose is the green you take home.
You can sit at the long table, pin out a pattern, ask whether a fabric will drape the way you want and have it cut to the centimetre. We will not sell you something that will not do the job — we would rather lose the sale and keep you as a customer.

Dressmaking Cloth (per m)
From €12 per metre
Cotton lawn, viscose, double gauze, crepe and linen from European weavers. Half-metre minimum, drape-tested at the counter before you cut.
Quilting Cotton (FQ)
From €4.50 fat quarter
Liberty Tana Lawn, Cloud9 organic, blender solids and weekly arrivals — fat quarters, half-metres and bolts at proper bolt prices.
Upholstery & Curtains
From €24 per metre
Heavier weights for cushions, curtains and chair re-covers, with a swatch service so you can test in the room before you commit.
Haberdashery Wall
From €1.20
Thread, zips, bias binding, buttons and bias tape in a colour-matched wall — bring your fabric to the wall and match it on the spot.
Pattern Cutting Help

Sit with a tutor at the long table to check sizing, grain line and fabric choice for a specific pattern before you cut into your cloth.
Sewing Beginner Workshop

Make a tote, a simple skirt or a quilt block in one Saturday — machines, fabric and a take-home project provided.
