Wood from European mills, joints cut by hand
A small workshop where every piece is built by the same maker from start to finish. We work with kiln-dried European hardwoods, mostly oak, ash, walnut and elm, sourced from FSC-certified mills in France, Belgium and Germany. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon or dovetail — no chipboard, no veneer over MDF.
Lead times are honest: a dining table is usually 8 to 12 weeks. We send photos at each milestone, finish the piece in your choice of hard wax oil, lacquer or shellac, and deliver and place it in the room ourselves so you never see flat-pack instructions.
Pieces built to outlive a house move
From a single chopping board to a six-metre boardroom table, made one at a time.
Solid European oak top, mortise-and-tenon frame, choice of trestle, A-frame or pedestal base — seats 6 to 10.
Three to four hand-cut drawers with dovetail joinery, two cabinet doors, optional cable management for hi-fi or TV use.
Solid wood top with a single live edge or chamfered profile, on tapered legs or a sled base in steel or wood.
Headboard, slats and frame in your choice of timber, plus a built-in shelf or reading-light recess on request.
Steam-bent ash or oak chairs with shaped seat and through-tenons, optional natural-leather sling seat.
Boardroom tables, dressers, chess tables, writing desks and other one-off pieces — fully bespoke from drawing.
