Bread first, then everything else
We mill some of our own flour and bake three doughs from scratch every morning — a 36-hour sourdough, a focaccia heavy with rosemary and salt, and a soft ciabatta for the hot ones. The fillings come from a network we have built over twelve years: ham from a local smoker, mozzarella from a Naples-trained cheesemaker, tomatoes that get a vine-on-the-counter test before they go in.
Counter open from seven thirty for breakfast through to four for late lunch, with a small loyalty card that gives you the eleventh sandwich free. Office orders are welcome on twenty-four hours' notice and we will write the names on the boxes so nobody fights over the chicken Caesar.

36-hour sourdough, smoked prosciutto, fior di latte, sun-dried tomato pesto, rocket and a slick of olive oil.
Slow-roasted topside, horseradish cream, watercress, beef-fat bread crumbs and red onion in a soft ciabatta.
Cured Loch Fyne salmon, dill cream cheese, capers, red onion and lemon on a fresh bagel toasted to order.
Grilled halloumi, sweet roasted peppers, basil, harissa-yoghurt and rocket on warm focaccia.
Choose your bread, two fillings, three salads and a sauce from twenty options. Allergens labelled, gluten-free bread on Wednesday and Friday.
Twelve halves of an assorted selection labelled by filling, plus crisps, fruit and napkins. Free delivery within 2 km.
