About Us

Sun-baked flavours from the medina

Our cooking starts at the souk: ras-el-hanout, dried mint, preserved lemons and a real bay-leaf bunch. The wood oven runs all day for tagines and breads, the brik are folded by hand and the harissa is pounded fresh in a small mortar at the pass.

We welcome families on Fridays for couscous, tables of two on quiet weeknights and groups for a long lazy mezze on Saturday evenings. Reservations recommended after 19:30.

What Our Clients Say

"We come for couscous nearly every other Friday. The lamb falls off the bone and the broth is the closest thing to my grandmother's I've found in this city."
Maya R.

Friday couscous regular

"Walked in not knowing what to order. The team talked me through the mezze, suggested a Tunisian rosé, and I left planning my next visit."
Oliver P.

First-time visitor

"Brought fifteen colleagues for a leaving dinner. The set menu kept arriving and everyone — even the picky ones — finished their plates."
